Twelve previously unheard recordings from one of the tzars of the guitar will be bestowed upon us on March 5, 2013. Rolling Stone reports that People, Hell and Angels from Jimi Hendrix was a new direction of sounds he was experimenting with, exploring different instruments including horns, keyboards, percussion, and a second guitar. The 2013 LP was recorded between 1968 and 1969 and will follow on from the 2010 box set West Coast Seattle Boy. The simple black-and-white artwork has been released (above) and look forward to a new take on the Jimi Hendrix sound in the new year.
