SILENT — the casual offshoot of Parisian avant-garde label Damir Doma — refers to the state in which “we are freed of thoughts, of noise or of any other distraction.” In keeping with this philosophy, the label’s designs are devoid of needless embellishment, focusing instead on pure shapes and forms and the raw state of fabrics. Known for its drapey, anti-fit garments in jersey, knits and woven fabrics, SILENT also creates footwear and accessories crafted from the same carefully-selected, premium materials. For Fall/Winter 2012, the label’s Samaris Boot is an avant-garde ankle boot silhouette crafted from smooth leather and sheepskin interior lining, all atop a black wedge sole. A zipper for easy access rounds out the details of this high-end, weather-ready footwear option.
