As we approach 2013, Under Armour‘s strong push into the performance sneaker spotlight continues with a trio of college basketball exclusives. The athletic apparel/footwear company recently commemorated the first match-up between Northwestern University and the University of Maryland in the Big 10 ACC Challenge with new iterations of the Charge BB, Spine Bionic and Micro G Torch that were worn by players from both teams. Each silhouette came shaded with gradient-heavy color schemes, eye-catching combinations of purple, red, yellow and black, along with the latest Under Armour innovations. Included among them — and available on the general release versions of each model — were the Charge BB’s high-cut makeup, the Spine Bionic’s flexible yet cushioned sole, and the return of signature UA technologies like HeatGear and Micro G cushioning. Stay tuned for more information on these basketball exclusives, along with release dates should they become available for purchase.
