To observe the 25th anniversary of Leeds-based retailer The Hip Store, they’ve partnered with longtime ally Norse Projects to present a small capsule collection of items. Using a shared thematic narrative that pays tribute to viking raids in England, the project blends contemporary fits and styles with Nordic-inspired imagery. Utilizing Runish typography in combination with a lithographic depiction of a viking boat touching shore, a modest white T-shirt completes part of the release. Comprising the other half is a 5-panel cap constructed using lightweight chambray, triple-needle stitch, and an interior print referencing an ancient viking attack route. The official launch takes place at The Hip Store in Leeds on Thursday, November 15 and will be available online the following day.
