i-D Magazine recently caught up with Compton emcee Kendrick Lamar on the heels of the release of good kid, m.A.A.d city which dropped on October 22 and has already moved a whopping 240k units since its release via Interscope. The rapid-fire Q&A finds Lamar discussing early gigs, his support system and his eclectic taste which in turn shaped his sound – culminating in an interview where much more is unearthed about him than a traditional web offering.
