GANT Rugger 2012 Holiday Collection

“Last Night/First Morning” is the new Holiday 2012 collection from GANT Rugger. Bringing a second helping of culinary-influenced menswear to the table, Christopher Bastin‘s seasonal offerings are tighter and more colorful than ever, drawing inspiration this time around from guests at a dinner party. The brand’s signature prep-inflected blazers, suiting, shirts and accessories all make a return this season, but with the addition of eveningwear and vibrant, festive hues like pink, magenta and pea green. Standouts include the slim-lapeled suit — cut close to the body and shaded in moss green — Fair Isle-patterned knit sweater and checkered dinner jacket, each given slim proportions and unusual hues. While Bastin’s Fall/Winter 2012 collection had much to do with the careful patience and quality of the slow food movement, Holiday 2012’s offerings exude all of the joy, immediacy and excitement of hungry guests counting down the New Year.
