Casio G-Shock‘s Sky Cockpit series is a line specially devoted to the aviators of our world. Although new models come very infrequently, Casio Japan announces the release of the GW-A1000FC. This uber-durable timepiece offers a slew of functional features to withstand the rough roadways of our upper atmosphere. Starting with a resin band, this piece offers G-Shock’s signature Triple G Resistance, as well as a shock-resistant build, the ability to run on solar power, a thermometer, power saving features, a warning to change the battery, and much more. The Casio G-Shock Sky Cockpit GW-A1000FC will release exclusively through participating Casio Japan locations for ¥65,000 JPY (approximately $812 USD), with a global release soon to follow.
