adidas D Rose 3 "Michigan Avenue"

After introducing an alternate “Away” make-up alongside a special “Chicago Fire” Electricity colorway and this week’s “90s Throwback” release, adidas Basketball returns with the latest version of Derrick Rose‘s signature adidas D Rose 3. Inspired by the annual holiday Magnificent Mile Lights Festival parade in Rose’s hometown of Chicago, this “Michigan Avenue” edition sees bright yellow accents on the eyelets and Three Stripes branding while a bold infrared shade appears on the tongue, outsole and laces alongside a predominately white synthetic upper. As a nod to the 1,000,000 lights that are displayed in the parade each year, the kicks feature a speckled midsole while the number itself and the satellite coordinates of Michigan Avenue encircle a facsimile of Rose’s stars and half-moon “Poohdini” tattoo inside the tongue. Capped off with bright blue accents on the padded collar, mesh tongue and nubuck toe, the “Michigan Avenue” adidas D Rose 3 will be available for $160 USD come November 15 – two days prior to this year’s Magnificent Mile Lights Festival.
