STUSSY & THE HEARTBREAKERS 2012 Fall/Winter "East Meets West" Lookbook

In a collision of the Eastern and Western styles of the ’80s and ’90s, Stussy and Masafumi Watanabe’s BEDWIN & THE HEARTBREAKERS present the “East Meets West” lookbook for their collaborative Fall/Winter 2012 capsule collection. First previewed in the second issue of HYPEBEAST Magazine, the new capsule includes two distinct sub-collections, dubbed “Orchard Street” and “SoHo Nights.” “Orchard Street” exudes the artistic, bohemian vibe of the daytime downtown Manhattan scene of decades past while the “SoHo Nights” pieces come inspired by New York City’s appropriation of tailored and sophisticated Tokyo style – a staple of Big Apple nightlife. Juxtaposing baggy pocket tees, lightweight trousers and bucket hats with the likes of button-downs, denim, a varsity jacket, blazer, and fedora, the collection also includes accessories like sunglasses, a tie, and pocket square.
