Being offered today is Beck’s 20-minute take on some segments of composer Philip Glass’s work. Titled “NYC 73-78,” the piece features an extensive remix collage of more than 20 various original Glass compositions. This will appear on the upcoming Beck-orchestrated Rework: Philip Glass Remixed, which is due October 23 via Orange Mountain Music/Ernest Jenning/The Kora Records, and will feature contributions from Dan Deacon, Pantha du Prince, Amon Tobin and more.
