HTC‘s newest upgrade to its popular HTC One X has just been released in the form of the HTC One X+. Keeping more or less the same design and dimensions — the X+ is just five grams lighter than its predecessor – it’s the internals and performance specs that see a modest jump in numbers. Now running Android 4.1 Jelly Bean, the mobile receives an upgrade to a 1.7GHz quad-core NVIDIA Tegra 3 processor, more internal storage, and a larger 2,100mAh battery. Key entertainment features remain, such as the accompanying pair of internal Beats-branded speakers and the rear 8-megapixel camera; the front facing camera gets bumped from 1.3 to 1.6-megapixels. Set to launch globally this fall, the HTC One X+ will hit European markets first with South Asia to follow.
