Looking to “take a bit of summer into winter,” Munich’s A Kind of Guise embarked on a special project earlier this year that’s due to make its way to retail for Fall/Winter 2012. Dubbed “90 Days of Sun, Rain and Wind,” the project saw the German crew expose a limited amount of denim to the elements over the course of three months in mountainous northern Italy near Lake Garda. The resulting weather-beaten fabric was then transformed into a range of unique pearl push-button shirts, each handmade in Germany and infused with the conditions and spirit of summer. Limited to 100 hand-numbered pieces, the special edition shirts are set to make their debut this November.
