With the anticipation building for the forthcoming “Down Time” exhibition at the High Museum of Art, the latest announcement gives nod to an impending collaboration between storied artist KAWS and Atlanta-based retailer Wish. While few details have been released at this point, the duo’s collaborative effort is likely to make use of KAWS’s trademark characterizations and visuals effectively reinterpreting the Wish branding. Wish has seen a successful resume of collaborating with the likes of Stussy, Mitchell & Ness and Shwood among others. The milestone will also represent one of KAWS’s inaugural forays into working alongside an American retailer.
