Continuing to reestablish its presence as one of the mainstay street labels, aNYthing recently invited Harlem-bred Venus X to present its latest Spring/Summer 2012 lookbook. The collection, which expectedly lends itself to bold New York graphical reinterpretations sees the inclusion of a more mature range of button-ups, cut-and-sew knitwear and premium outerwear. While the label affirms its obvious progression, much of its foundational DNA remains in the form of snapbacks, T-shirts and graphic-driven crewnecks. If Venus X’s “IDGAF I DONT GIVE A FUCK” trademark slogan is any indication of what to expect from aNYthing moving into 2012, the forthcoming year will prove impressive.
