A fully electric slicked up version of the beloved Beetle, this concept car weighs in with a 695-pound lithium-ion battery pack in the rear and an electric motor that together produces 85 kilowatts (114 horsepower) and 199 pound-feet of torque. Its charging port is found under the hood’s large VW emblem, and an under-hood plug enables Levels 1-3 charging, i.e. 120-volt, 240-volt and quick charges respectively. In quick charging mode, the E-Bugster can achieve 80% charge in merely 30 minutes. Utilizing both powertrains, drivers can expect jaunts of approximately 100 miles between recharges.
