Brazilian industrial designer Gustavo Brenck presented his Scooter Backpack recently, giving the fashion-forward, traveling urbanite yet another mode of transportation. Cleverly designed, the nylon backpack, with numerous compartments for personal storage, provides a folding aluminum scooter platform that zips easily into the inner shell. With the added touches of a telescopic handlebar, removable wheels and lightweight materials weighing a total 90 kilograms, the Scooter Backpack is just the beginning of a revolution looking to bring style to the environment-conscious transportation industry. As Brenck said, “Now there are no more excuses not to use alternative transportation and avoid traffic.”
