While pocket watches have lost much of their traction within today’s practical fashion scene, menswear continues its often retrospective cycle seeing the reemergence of all but forgotten pieces of timeless function. Watchmaker Memento offers a surprisingly modern take on the pocket watch. Currently available at Hong Kong retailer Kapok with availability being offered through the shop’s webstore within the next week, the newly created label releases a wooden timepiece in a Dark Sandal and Light Maple color option. Limited to only 1000 of these handcrafted stainless steel, wood blend timepieces, retail is set at $980 HKD (approximately $126 USD).
