Balmain 2012 Spring/Summer High-Top Sneaker

As we transition to the era of newly appointed Creative Director Olivier Rousteing, Parisian fashion house Balmain looks to continue with its luxuriously designed, military-inspired garments, but now with a youthful approach. After a successful showing of his debut collection this past fall, we get word of a pair of High-Top Sneakers set to release sometime this spring. Made of 100% calf leather, this ribbed heel model provides the added comfort of an ankle strap with a tonal black upper and contrasting white sole. Currently available for pre-order here with a price tag of ¥99,750 JPY (approximately $1,299 USD), this release will also be accompanied by a second high top model with a zipped closure.
