As the daughter of the late American blues legend Chris Whitley, Trixie Whitley grew up between Belgium and New York, surrounded by creatives all her childhood. With musicians, artists and writers shaping her environment, she’s sworn off music in the past in order to achieve normalcy. With the release of “A Thousand Thieves” through NOWNESS, a video directed by filmmaker Matthu Placek, we see a reformed Trixie not afraid to show off her vulnerable yet strong spirit emerging from the soul of her latest ballad.
