Vans LXVI Collection

Since its inception in 1966, Vans has become one of the foremost players within the world of action sports apparel and footwear. Having seen many successes with the roll out of brand extensions such as Vans OTW and the Vans California Collection, as well as higher tiers such as Vans Vault and Vans Syndicate, the iconic brand introduces its latest collection, Vans LXVI (pronounced “Vans 66”). Decidedly forward-thinking in its approach, the Vans LXVI line aims to bring an added focus towards action sports lifestyle to a demographic that perhaps is untapped thus far in regards to its brand’s reach. Setting its sights on building a bridge to younger consumers who would not be considered “core” skateboarders or actions sports participants per se, the initial introduction of six new construction technologies makes comfort and wearability of paramount importance. While specific information is still forthcoming, the new collection will roll out an initial five innovative footwear designs: Graph, Secant, Inscribe, Variable and Ortho.
