Originally introduced in 1970, the Datsun 240Z used a Datsun 1600 engine–a 4-cylinder copy of the 1960s’ Mercedes-Benz six-cylinder 220 engine. The 240Z’s engine was naturally reinstated with the two cylinders, producing 151 horsepower and 146 pound-feet of torque so that the car could do 0 to 60 in 8 seconds. This restored and improved version of the vintage car however has an SR20DET engine that gives more than twice–320hp when cruising and nearly thrice, a ferocious 437hp–its original power when ran at full speed. Its flashy green exterior and immaculate 100% stock interior, impeccably restored by the experts at Miller Brothers Hot Rod Barn, also leaves little cause for complain.
