Susan Boyle first came to international public attention when she appeared as a contestant on the reality TV program Britain’s Got Talent on April 11, 2009, singing “I Dreamed a Dream” from Les Misérables. The 50-year-old Scottish singer proved that her sudden rise to fame is not the one of a one-hit-wonder as she successfully released two full-length albums: I Dreamed a Dream and The Gift. Now as Ms. Boyle is gearing to release her third opus, Someone to Watch Over Me which comes out in November, she has a special audio treat in the shape of a very original rendition of Depeche Mode’s classic 1990 Violator single, “Enjoy the Silence.” Listen to this interesting version below, courtesy of Rolling Stone.
