Leading brands are sure getting a shakeup at the top. After it was reported that Marc Jacobs was taking the big chair from John Galliano at Dior, word now comes that LVMH CEO Yves Carcelle is stepping down from the famed leather goods company after 20 years. Vogue UK speculates that Carcelle’s departure stems from the reshuffling of the design hierarchy at LVMH. Despite leaving his post, Carcelle will remain on the executive committee as well as undertake “strategic roles” alongside Bernard Arnault. Will the real Louis Vuitton Don step up?
