Christopher Shannon 2012 Spring/Summer Collection

Christopher Shannon’s Spring/Summer 2012 collection used Leslie Winer’s Witch album as a starting point for inspiration. The result is a simple, singular and clean look. The classic Americana vibe is achieved through check madras fabrics, with classic college sweatshirts that have been reinterpreted with collage prints. Handmade hair comb headpieces and plastic woven jewelery adorn the looks, refining the idea of handcrafted accessories made from found items. Working in partnership with footwear company Swear, each look is finished with classic brogue styles reinterpreted with a raised platform and two-tone block colored sole.
