American designer Billy Reid unveils his latest collection for 2012 spring/summer right at the peak of New York Fashion Week. Best known for his workwear-infused casual clothing, Reid’s latest foray continues his penchant for laid back garments but comes with several unusual turns. Muted pieces sporadically adorned by interesting patterns and intricate detailing gave an exciting twist to some layered looks, while a strong reference to Southern styling was obvious throughout the collection. Strong pieces from the bunch include double breast outerwear, lightweight button-ups and khaki trousers.
