New from National Geographic and inspirational filmmaker, climber and artist Renan Osturk comes the latest installation of On Assignment, featuring an emphasis on the little-publicized activity of mountain climbing. Following climber Jimmy Chin through Yosemite National Park as he scales the staggering cliffs and floating hundreds of feet above the lush greenery below, Osturk does an excellent job of capturing the raw beauty of it all. The sport is accurately presented as an odd mix of exhilaration and fear that only climbing and highline-walking can encompass. Definitely worth checking out for fans of nature, sport or cinematography.
