Designer Nigel Cabourn was inspired from the expeditions of climber Edmund Henry with the creation of his Everest Jacket. Cabourn tracked the jacket down from its original expedition in 1953, to give the very same elements that helped Edmund Henry summit Mount Everest and brave the elements while doing so. The parka is produced in Yorkshire and is stuffed with goose down. The body is made from the waterproof breathable Ventile fabric. For further warmth, fur is lined around the hood and a button front is added to act as a windbreaker. The parka in its navy colorway is available exclusively through Superdenim.
