Tokyo-based architecture and design firm Kochi Architect’s Studio has recently completed one of their most ambitious projects yet. Entitled “47% House,” the structure is a zen haven injected with the lifeblood of a modernist aesthetic. Through the use of floor-to-ceiling windows, a black outer shell complemented by a stark white interior, and meticulous groundskeeping that has been integrated into the house’s overall design, Kochi managed to manipulate the lines between interior and outdoors. Decorated in a tastefully understated contemporary fashion, so as not to distract from the boxy home’s architectural details, this Japanese beauty is definitely worth checking out for design enthusiasts the world over.
