After three years of silence, The Kooks are back on the music scene as they gear up for the release of their upcoming new offering Junk of the Heart. On this note, the Brighton-based indie rock collective unveils their new video for “Is It Me” which features great stop-motion elements. The song was recorded in London and New York with producer Tony Hoffer, whose previous credits include Beck and Air among others. Junk of the Heart is slated to drop a week after “Is It Me,” on September 12. This also marks the band’s first album with bassist Pete Denton, who replaced founding member Max Rafferty.
