Alexander Ebert featuring RZA - Truth (Remix)

Back in March, Edward Sharpe & The Magnetic Zeros’ frontman, Alexander Ebert, released his first solo album without much support behind it. However, that’s not too surprising since the impressive project, properly titled Alexander, was sang, written and produced entirely by Ebert and Ebert only. Although it hasn’t received that much exposure, that could change with the push of interesting remixes like the one that hit the ‘net yesterday. To bring one of the album’s standout songs, “Truth,” to a wider audience, Ebert acquired a verse from none other than RZA. While it is certainly an interesting collaboration, RZA’s composed flow comes off in a spoken word fashion and compliments probably the most hip-hop-esque singing Ebert has ever belted out.
