The Black Eyed Peas announced to make an indefinite break from making music together. The quartet shared this surprising news while performing at the Alton Towers in Staffordshire, UK earlier this week. Fergie revealed that the break would be similar to their 2005 to 2009 hiatus, and was quick to deny that this is a definite breakup of the award-winning group. In addition, frontman will.i.am took things to Twitter to further ensure that the band is not splitting for good.
“The @Bep will take a break after the beginning…just like we did from monkey business to the e.n.d…but it doesn’t mean we stop creating.”
A few months ago, Fergie stated that will.i.am is planning to release a solo album titled Black Einstein. What are your thoughts on BEP’s hiatus?
