Kanye West to launch women's clothing line

Although talks about Kanye West pursuing a career within the fashion sector have been ongoing for a few years already, the world has yet to see a creation by Mr. West. However, new reports emerge that Yeezy’s fashionable endeavor is slowly but surely taking shape. According to New York Magazine, Kanye is set to launch a womenswear label with British designer Louise Goldin. Professor Louis Wilson of British fashion school Central St. Martins confirms this report and shared some details of the collection:
“I have known Kanye for about two years. He is very knowledgeable about fashion and interested – he is also interesting, he has an individual point of view. He has visited the college twice – most recently about employing interns to work on a variety of projects. He has supported the fashion school (with its fundraising regarding its move to Kings Cross) with a donation.
I think we can expect a well-considered collection, you wouldn’t expect less from a pair of professionals and I warn against dismissing it in haste. There are those who might assume Louise will be doing all the work and Kanye is just the face, I don’t believe this will be the case—he researches thoroughly and is hands on and committed to his work.”
