Following up to their much celebrated their last year’s hit “Pumped Up Kicks,” which reached number one on Billboard’s Alternative Songs chart, Foster the People now intends to fulfill the high expectations on their upcoming releases. Enter “Helena Beat,” Foster’s new single and its new video, directed by veteran indie favorite Ace Norton known for his work with LCD Soundsystem, Santigold and Bloc Party. The concept for the visual is in accordance with early reports that the video was described as “Lord of the Flies meets Mad Max,” as it features their extras in a post-apocalyptic landscape.
