The Canadian genre-crossing artist will return to the music scene with her new album, Metals, on October 4 via Cherrytree/Interscope. The highly anticipated long-player marks Feist’s first musical release since her 2007 opus The Reminder. As Pitchfork points out, the LP will feature 12 songs that were recorded in Toronto and Big Sur. It also boasts contributions by her frequent collaborators Chilly Gonzales and Mocky, and producer Valgeir Sigurðsson.
