Memory Tapes - Yes I Know (Video)

New from New Jersey-based indie band Memory Tapes comes a surreal, Eric Epstein-directed video for the latest track off their upcoming album, Player Piano. Lead by Dayve Hawk, the former frontman for glossy Philadelphia post-punk band Hail Social, Memory Tapes has garnered a lot of attention for their remixes of popular songs from the likes of Peter Bjorn and John and even Britney Spears. Entitled “Yes I Know,” the track featured here is eerie and ethereal, yet also quite listenable. Featuring supernatural light displays, celestial figures and unnerving, melting bodies, the sleek video is certainly a statement. Player Piano is due out in July 2011.
