Influential hair stylist Julien d’Y has had a longstanding relationship with the world of fashion. Dating back to the late ’80s, it was deemed his careful manipulation of supermodel Linda Evangelista’s mane that helped launch the model’s career to new heights. Not withstanding that particular event, he has had working relationships with the likes of Annie Liebovitz, Yohji Yamamoto, David Sims, John Galliano and COMME des GARCONS. It is COMME des GARCONS who are also offering their Parisian retail space as a platform for d’Y's first-ever painting and multi-platform exhibition which takes place on June 23 till July 13.
