Taking the modified and sports-centric sensibilities of the M3, weight reduction becomes a key differential for the absolute top-of-the-line M3. BMW’s new carbon fiber technology is manifested through a new carbon fiber hood (a 75% weight savings) and the seating arrangements. Other weight savers include a titanium muffler, lightweight wheels and upgraded calibers. The cost of all this is a rumored €130,000 EUR (approximately $185,000 USD).
