Hell: The Sequel, the first official release of Eminem and Royce Da 5’9”‘s joint project, has taken over the top spot on Billboard 200 album charts. According to Nielsen SoundScan, the Detroit duo sold 171,000 copies of their collaborative EP. While Eminem is accustomed to be positioned on the top of the charts, this certainly signifies a career high for Royce, whose previous solo LP Street Hop peaked at 110 in 2009. Clearly one of the music industry’s big winners this year, Adele’s 21 is still doing great at the charts with 115,000 copies, thus earning spot No. 3. After a strong first phase of sales thanks to Amazon, Lady Gaga’s Born This Way moves down two spots to No. 4 (68,000).
