The Yvon Lambert gallery recently played host to a new exhibition titled “Phantom” by Scottish artist Douglas Gordon. Gordon’s sixth exhibition is separated into two different rooms where the first one is of an autobiographical nature with a myriad of photography of varying sizes with images, photos, drawings and personal objects. The second part is a darker installation which includes a video screen with platform and mirrors surrounding the area with a grand piano also incorporated into the space. The installation’s video was created by the help of singer-songwriter Rufus Wainwright to create “a place of metaphorical mental and physical experience almost mystical.”
