After putting out their sixth studio album, The King Is Dead, back in January, Portland-based indie rock band The Decemberists have finally released a full music video to accompany one of the LP’s standout tracks. The visual for “This Is Why We Fight” harnesses adolescent imagination and creativity in a very cinematic, almost Where the Wild Things Are type of way, except an elaborate game of capture the flag ends up being the focal point of this plot.
