Following up from the October 2010 release of their fifth studio album, Come Around Sundown, Kings of Leon has put the finishing touches on the full-length documentary that tells the Southern rock band’s fascinating story. The film, Talihina Sky, will be making its on-screen debut at the 2011 Tribeca Film Festival at the end of this month in New York, NY. Based on the movie’s trailer, which was revealed on TalihinaSky.com yesterday, it appears that fans will finally get to go on a behind-the-scenes journey from the humble, religious beginnings of the three-part brother and one-part cousin band all the way to the success that Caleb, Nathan, Jared and Matthew Followill have incurred over the past few years. Intertwined with the band’s rise to fame are themes of drug use and family disappointment, letting viewers know that everything has not always been peachy in the lives of the multi-platinum-selling, chart-topping rockers. As of now, no information on the film’s public release has been issued.
