Parisian beat wizard Kirikoo Des from the CDL Collective brings forth an impressive experimental deep house refix of Zoo Kid’s “Out Getting Ribs.” After contributing to the follow-up of The Emmanuel Jal Kuar Remix EP which featured excellent sounds from Olof Dreijer (of The Knife) and Henrik Schwarz, Kirikoo Des puts his signature of minimalistic sound on the original version, which is named after a 1982 “Pencil on a Paper Piece” from Jean Michel Basquiat.
