In preparation for the release of her sophomore album, w h o k i l l, California-based experimental vocalist and musician Merrill Garbus, aka tUnE-yArDs, has released the video to her single, “Bizness.” The song itself and the video to it are both a bit bizarre and eccentric, but extremely unique and intriguing nonetheless. The bouncing samples in the beat and Garbus’s impressive vocals provide for a high-energy, addictive track; while the glitchy clips of face-painted singing and choreographed dancing give the video an equal amount of replay value. Check out the video above and be on the lookout for w h o k i l l, which is set for an April 19 release on the British independent label 4AD.
