Starting on Saturday, March 12, the Victoria and Albert Museum is launching an exhibition dedicated to the work of avant-garde fashion designer Yohji Yamamoto. Known best for challenging the traditional notions of fashion, Yamamoto became internationally renowned during the early 1980s for his garments that seemed oversized and unfinished. The retrospective will highlight over 60 of the designer’s creations, including his menswear, in a series of site-specific installations that stretch across the city of London.
