Talk about work ethic. New York City’s iconic rock collective The Strokes are already planning the follow-up project to Angles. According to the band’s bassist Nikolai Fraiture, the quintet will begin writing the new album less than one month after their latest album comes out. As told to XFM:
“We were just talking about when we would get back together and start writing for the next album. It should be soon. April, mid-April.”
This follows frontman Julian Casablancas’s assertion that they would begin working on new material “as soon as possible.” In case you missed it, check their live performance on Late Night with David Letterman here and get your copy of Angles here.
