Panyee FC Short Film

The TMB (Thai Military Bank) launch their new “Make THE Difference” campaign with a film made to inspire people to start thinking differently, with a hope that they will begin to “Make THE Difference” within their own world. It doesn’t have to be big, but a little can create positive change in any environment. This film is based on a true story. In 1986, a football team that lived on a small island in the south of Thailand, “Koh Panyee,” wanted the opportunity to play football yet had no soil as they lived on a floating village. Not letting anything stop them, they began to practice on the only thing they could and the community began to rally around them. The Panyee FC challenged the norm and became a great inspiration for new generations on the island. Their story is told above. Enjoy!
