The release of Lupe Fiasco’s often delayed Lasers album seems to be worthwhile as it reportedly lands the number one spot of the Billboard album charts. According to Hits Daily Double, the LP has sold over 204,000 units in its first week of release, thus becoming the rapper’s first official chart topping album. Lupe’s Food & Liquor debuted at number 8 on the charts, whereas his sophomore offering The Cool made it at number 14. Congratulations!
