Bob Marley’s music is timeless. However, there is always room for some interesting genre-crossing renditions. This is the case with Jenny Wilson‘s latest single “Work” which covers Marley’s motivating jam. It is also the first single from the new Jenny Wilson album Blazing which features reinterpretations and re-works of material on her last studio album Hardships.

I grew up with Bob Marley. My dad loved his music. He used to put on his records and jump around so that the floor vibrated as if it was an earthquake approaching! There were so many feelings in his music, I could sense that, even if I was a kid. Now I know that there’s only one musical genius named Bob, and that is, of course, Bob Marley! When I cover his song, the taste of his words feels completely true. R.I.P Bob!
