SASQUATCHfabrix 2011 Spring/Summer "Zenarchy" Lookbook

Japanese brand SASQUATCHfabrix present a stunning lookbook for their latest spring/summer collection, entitled “Zenarchy.” In possibly one of the more creative artistic angles yet seen this season, the brand’s upcoming collection exhibits a rather distinct aesthetic defined by a seamless combination of American hippie and Japanese Zen motifs. Oneness and harmony, both of which are major aspects of both cultural phenomena, are omnipresent throughout the lookbook as exemplified by minimalist, functional looks like army fatigue pants complemented by seasoned, earth-toned knits. Keita Izuka’s photography perfectly captures the Zen aesthetic SASQUATCHfabrix is going for here, and the lookbook contains breathtaking shots of the pieces set in the oriental woodlands and other Japanese religious locations.
