Good news for all the lovers of laid-back, eased-out flow. XXL reports that Curren$y has signed with Warner Bros. Records and is eying his first offering to be released April 20. This implies an EP which will be produced entirely by The Alchemist. In addition, the New Orleans rapper imported his own imprint to the major label as well.
Spitta also secured a label deal with Warner for his imprint, Jets International. He has hopes to drop disc by his affiliates Fiend and Young Roddy, who have appeared on his Pilot Talk 1 & 2 albums, which both dropped in 2010 through a distribution deal with Def Jam. – XXL
Keeping in mind that the resurrection of Roc-A-Fella went sour, this is more than deserved. Congratulations.
